Branch Manager – Watford
£38,000 + Bonus Scheme + Company Car
Access Garage Doors, one of the South East’s longest-established and most respected garage door and entrance door specialists since 1976, are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead their Watford branch.
We are the largest garage door group in the region and continue to grow through investing in outstanding customer service and expansion. This hands-on role allows you to manage the branch operation, oversee a small team, and drive growth while maintaining high standards in customer service.

The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the Watford branch
- Manage and support a small team
- Handle customer enquiries, sales, and order processing
- Coordinate installations and branch logistics
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards
- Monitor stock and delivered goods
- Note: This role involves manual handling and heavy lifting.
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous management, supervisory, or team leadership experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to multitask effectively
- Confidence in managing relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Sales-driven, with a proactive approach
- Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and order management systems
- Leadership by example in a hands-on environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (with a maximum 3 penalty points) Reduced currency for right holders will be considered.

Desirable Experience:
- Industry experience in garage doors, construction, trade-related industries, or home improvements
- Scheduling installations or coordinating operational teams
- Stock handling and goods checking expertise
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM–5 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM–12:30 PM (rotas applied)
