Branch Manager

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within Stark UK which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector predominately Housing Associations and Local Authorities and maintenance contractors.

Hours – Mon to Fri – 7.30am to 4.30pm

We are looking to recruit a Branch Manager to run this new store where the focus of this role is managing a small team with focus on, stock management, product availability, monitoring van spares, arranging deliveries and overall delivering an excellent service to our client and their tradesmen. A good knowledge of building materials is preferred, this could be from a roofing / plumbing / builder’s / trade merchant / DIY outlet background.

This involves providing and managing van stocks and a wide range of building reactive maintenance materials including plumbing, electrical and ironmongery.

A new agreement has just been secured with one of our National Contractor partners which will incorporate a dedicated store located on a new site in Evesham.

This role is crucial to the performance of this contract, as such we are looking for someone with managerial experience, good communication skills and commercial awareness, a good understanding of building products, who promotes an inclusive culture for both colleagues and customers, whilst being able to empower the team to provide great customer service.

Experience / Skills:

  • Ideally a background in Building Merchants / DIY or related
  • Great customer service skills
  • Experience of management and working within a small team.
  • Build effective relationships with Suppliers
  • Able to lead a team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
