What you will do:
As Branch Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the performance of the branch, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation while achieving sales and profitability objectives.
Operations
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the branch and distribution centre to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable performance.
- Drive operational excellence through inventory management, process improvements, and productivity initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Sales & Customer Experience
- Foster a customer-first culture by delivering exceptional service and building long-term customer relationships.
- Partner with the sales team to drive profitable revenue growth and expand market share.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally while identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

- Recruit, develop, coach, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Create an engaged workplace culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet operational and customer needs while managing labour effectively.
- Provide ongoing performance coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities.
Financial Management
- Deliver branch financial results by achieving sales, margin, and profitability targets.
- Monitor branch performance using key financial and operational metrics.
- Manage expenses responsibly while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.
- 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in branch management, distribution, wholesale, building materials, industrial, or a related industry.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
- Demonstrated success driving sales growth, operational excellence, and financial performance.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial statements and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience preparing reports, business correspondence, and operational documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); experience with distribution or ERP systems is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license.
