Branch Manager

Branch Manager − Entrepreneurial Insurance Leadership Role

Role Overview

As Branch Manager, you’ll oversee your own profit & loss (P&L), guiding growth through new business expansion while consistently delivering first-rate service to existing clients. This requires a balanced approach:

  • Enhancing client retention and driving loyalty through policy management and, coaching.
  • Identifying and pursuing business opportunities with commercial acumen.
  • Leading a high-performing team—development, trust-building, and quality assurance form the backbone of success.

Key requirement: A proven track record in Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines insurance.


Essential Responsibilities

Business & Client Focus

  • Proactively develop new business pipelines, analysing opportunities to balance risk and reward.
  • Retain and grow existing client base through personalised, proactive service.
  • Utilise data analysis to make evidenced-based decisions while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders for strategic insights, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Solid 5+ years in branch management or equivalent supervisory roles within insurance (Preferred focus on Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines).
  • Track record of driving business growth through retention, cross-selling, and new accounts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire teams and advocate for clients.
  • Commercially minded with analytical prowess, adept at data interpretation and performance metrics tracking.
