We’re Access Garage Doors, one of the South East’s longest-established and most respected garage door and entrance door specialists since 1976. As the largest garage door group in the South, we specialise in investment in growth, expansion, and unparalleled customer service.

Now, we’re seeking an experienced, motivated Branch Manager to lead our Croydon branch—a hands-on, varied role where you’ll drive operational success, manage a team, and champion customer service excellence.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

Homebase: Croydon branch, South East Hours: Mon-Fri (7:30am–5pm) / Sat (9am–12:30pm, rota basis).

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day branch management
  • Team Responsibilities: Lead and support a small team (training and mentoring included)
  • Direct Customer Engagement: Handle enquiries, sales, orders, and installations
  • Logistics & Operations: Coordinate installations, stock management, and delivered goods
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold the company’s uncompromising customer service standards
  • Full Hands-On Involvement: Manual handling/heavy lifting integral to daily operations

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in leadership/supervisory or team management roles
  • Strong customer service, communication and influencing skills
  • Multitasking ability, adept at time management & organisational efficiency
  • Proactive sales mindset with confidence in managing stakeholder relationships
  • Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points).
  • IT familiarity: Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and order management systems

Desirable But Not Mandatory

  • Previous industry experience in garage doors, construction, trade-based sectors, or home improvement/ buider’s merchants
  • Familiarity with installation scheduling & operational teams
  • Knowledge of stock handling and quality control processes
