Lead a successful branch for one of the UK's most established removals and storage companies.
At Bishop's Move, we've been helping people and businesses move for over 170 years. With a reputation built on exceptional service, professionalism and expertise, we're looking for an experienced and inspiring Branch Manager to lead our Aylesbury team.
Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated leader who can drive operational excellence, develop a high-performing team and deliver outstanding customer service.
About the role
As Branch Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring it operates safely, efficiently and profitably. You'll lead from the front, supporting your team while building strong relationships with customers and colleagues across the business.
What you'll be doing
- Leading, motivating and developing a successful branch team.
- Driving branch performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Working closely with other Branch Managers to share best practice and support the wider business.
- Managing recruitment, training, performance reviews and employee development.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and ISO quality standards.
- Overseeing vehicle, warehouse and operational resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Managing branch budgets, reporting and operational performance.
- Handling customer relationships, including first-line claims and complaint resolution.
- Supporting local marketing initiatives alongside our Marketing team.
- Representing Bishop's Move at industry events, including BAR meetings.

About you
You'll be an organised, commercially aware leader who enjoys managing people and delivering excellent customer experiences.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in branch, operations or depot management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing operational performance.
- An understanding of Health & Safety and quality compliance.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
