About the Role
Access Garage Doors, a leading specialist in garage and entrance doors since 1976, seeks an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead and grow our Croydon branch.
This hands-on, varied role will involve overseeing daily operations, managing a small team, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving growth in one of the South East’s fastest-growing garage door businesses.

The Role & Responsibilities
In this hands-on, leadership-driven position, you’ll be responsible for:
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Croydon branch
- Managing and supporting a small team
- Handling customer enquiries, sales, and order processing
- Coordinating installations and branch operations
- Ensuring high standards of customer service
- Monitoring stock and delivered goods
- Performing manual handling and heavy lifting (role involves practical work)
Requirements
Essential
- Proven management, supervisory, or team leadership experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities
- Confident in dealing with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Sales-focused with a proactive, results-driven attitude
- Familiar with email, Microsoft Office, and order management systems
- Leads by example in a hands-on working environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)

Desirable
- Experience in garage doors, construction, builders’ merchants, or home improvements
- Hands-on experience in scheduling installations or managing operational teams
- Knowledge of stock handling and goods checking
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday: 7.30 AM – 5 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM – 12:30 PM (rota basis)
