Branch Manager - Heanor

About the Role

Are you a natural leader with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service? Join Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care as a Branch Manager, where you will play a key role in ensuring the success of your branch while leading a dedicated team in providing expert eye and hearing care.

You will inspire and support your team to deliver exceptional service, drive business growth, and maintain high professional standards in a customer-focused environment.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate your team to consistently provide outstanding customer service
  • Manage all branch operations, including meeting sales targets and driving business growth
  • Oversee staff training, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure every customer receives expert advice and the highest quality of care
  • Oversee stock management, compliance, and day-to-day branch efficiency
  • Support and collaborate with Optometrists and Hearing Aid Audiologists to maintain clinical excellence
  • Engage with the local community to promote the branch and build strong customer relationships
  • Maintain compliance with Company policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced retail manager, ideally with a background in optics, audiology, or healthcare. You should possess:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • A customer-first mindset and excellent communication abilities
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Problem-solving skills and a commitment to team development
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
