We're looking for a Branch Manager to lead our well-established Mr Central Heating branch in West Bromwich.
With a loyal customer base, an experienced long-standing team and a strong reputation in the local market, this is an opportunity to take the helm of a successful branch and help drive it to the next level.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead from the front, build on existing customer relationships, develop new business opportunities and create an environment where both customers and colleagues continue to thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking full responsibility for branch performance, including sales, margin and customer growth
- Leading from the trade counter and showroom, setting the standard for customer service and sales
- Building on long-standing customer relationships while actively winning new business
- Driving a proactive sales culture by following up quotations, identifying opportunities and converting enquiries into sales
- Leading, motivating and developing an experienced, close-knit team
- Creating a positive branch culture where colleagues feel supported, valued and accountable
- Managing stock, operations and the day-to-day running of the branch
- Maintaining high standards across the branch, ensuring an excellent customer experience at every opportunity

What We’re Looking For
- Experience within a plumbing & heating merchant or wider merchanting environment
- Previous Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager or sales leadership experience
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to grow sales while protecting margin
- A hands-on leader who enjoys being visible and leading by example
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both customers and colleagues
- Someone who can build on an already successful branch while bringing fresh ideas and energy
- Well organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
