Branch Manager (Newport, Shropshire)

You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience within your branch, ensuring it stands out on the high street. Your leadership, commercial acumen, and strong team management skills will drive success and deliver outstanding results.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Branch Manager for our branch in Newport, Shropshire.
Contract Type
This is a 12-month secondment opportunity, full-time (35 hours per week), covering Monday to Saturday.
Note: If advertised as part-time, the salary will be pro rata.

Location & Travel
You should be within a 45-minute commute of the branch to ensure full engagement. Nationwide remains committed to sustaining its branch network—the UK’s largest, with over 600 locations—so if your preferred branch is beyond the 45-minute threshold, consider other vacancies that align better with your travel needs.
Training &induction
Your training will be completed virtually in-branch, with a structured pathway to ensure you thrive in the role. The first 3 weeks are critical to establishing your career with us, so no holidays will be approved during this period.
