Branch Sales Assistant

# Customer Service Apprentice – Trade Counter & Symposium

## About the Role Coming on board as a Customer Service Apprentice, you’ll be essential to ensuring our customers receive the best support at branch level. Here, you’ll contribute directly to our ongoing success by leading customer interactions, processing orders and managing stock—all while building both confidence and key skills on the job.

You’ll gain experience across a range of areas:

  • Customer-facing roles, from assisting in our trade counter to taking calls and managing customer accounts at the shop level
  • Supporting stock transitions—** bringing in, checking in, and restocking goods** —to ensure products are securely handled and ready when needed
  • Assisting with supplier deliveries, from booking to receiving orders while keeping accurate branch records
  • Rotating through our warehouse to build practical product knowledge (so you can go the extra mile with our customers) and the administration teams to master back-office platforms
  • A structured training plan is provided, led by a dedicated mentor, as part of the 12-month development programme. You’ll graduate this role as a well-rounded Asset: Customer Service & Sales

All experience from initial contact to order fulfilment, closest to the mandatory Customer Service Framework, but tailored to support our distribution specification.
