Job Description
Reporting to the Branch Managers, you will be responsible for:
- Driving sales targets and cultivating a high-performing sales team
- Developing tactics to secure market share, profit, and other key sales metrics in a defined geographic area
- Contributing to the company’s marketplace knowledge through research and insights
- Monitoring and reviewing the team’s customer contact strategy via Crown 360
- Coaching and motivating the sales team to meet targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Managing discount levels and monitoring team activity
- Developing team potential to its fullest
- Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of team members
- Creating strategies to promote Crown’s products and services
- Hiring, training, and motivating the sales team
- Preparing sales forecasts and setting sales goals for Area Sales Managers
- Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and enhance results
- Establishing best practices and ensuring compliance
- Conducting market research and collecting customer feedback to refine service delivery
- Evaluating performance, compiling sales reports, and submitting them to senior management

Skills and Experience
We seek a candidate with a successful sales track record in the electric warehousing equipment sector or a related field such as pallet racking systems. Emphasis is placed on career stability, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic, along with determination, energy, and passion.
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to coach and manage a sales team
- Commercial acumen with an understanding of impactful decision-making
- Results-driven, customer-focused, proactive and enthusiastic approach
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in materials handling sales, ideally within the forklift industry
- Strong new business development skills
- Personable and adept at building strong relationships
- Exceptional presentation and customer-facing skills—written/verbal, equipment demonstrations, price negotiation, and objection handling
- Market and competitor awareness (need identification, trend analysis)
- Strong solution sales approach
- Numerical competence in sales metrics and forecasting
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, email management)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to absorb client details and effectively communicate product features and benefits
