Location: Aberdeen Department: Wholesale Type: Full Time Reporting to: Branch Manager

Dron & Dickson are looking for a Branch Supervisor to support the Branch Manager and oversee the day-to-day running of the Sales Coordinator team. This role combines operational leadership with hands-on sales support, ensuring efficient processes, strong team performance, and high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities Branch Operations & Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage the Sales Coordinator team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
  • Support the Branch Manager with stock control, aged stock and aged debt management
  • Assist in preparing and submitting tender documents
  • Oversee procurement for key product lines to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Train and mentor new team members on systems and processes
  • Support performance reviews and team development
  • Approve invoices and stock adjustments within delegated authority
  • Attend meetings on behalf of the Branch Manager when required

Sales & Customer Service

  • Assist with quotation and purchase order approvals in line with delegated authority
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of quotations, sales orders and purchase orders
  • Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion and maintain competitiveness
  • Manage customer and supplier returns and non-conformances in line with procedures
  • Support Business Development Managers as required
  • Maintain strong communication with customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes

HSEQ

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures within the integrated management system
  • Support a safe working environment and meet all health and safety requirements
  • Act with integrity and ensure all required training is completed

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and time management abilities
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach
  • Confident using systems and standard IT packages
  • Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Leadership capability with a focus on team development
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results

This is a varied role with opportunity to develop within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Some travel and networking may be required.
