Branch Supervisor
Branch Supervisor – Wholesale (Aberdeen)
Location: Aberdeen Department: Wholesale Type: Full Time Reports to: Branch Manager
About the Role Dron & Dickson are seeking a Branch Supervisor to support the Branch Manager and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales Coordinator team. This full-time role merges operational leadership with hands-on sales support, ensuring streamlined processes, high team performance, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations & Team Leadership
- Lead and managers the Sales Coordinator team, ensuring efficient daily operations
- Assist the Branch Manager with:
- Stock control, aged stock and aged debt management
- Preparation and submission of tender documents
- Oversee procurement for key product lines to maintain optimal stock levels
- Train and mentor new team members on systems and Dron & Dickson processes
- Support performance reviews and team development
- Approve invoices and stock adjustments within delegated authority
- Attend meetings on behalf of the Branch Manager as required

Sales & Customer Service
- Assist with quotation and purchase order approvals (within delegated authority)
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of:
- Quotations
- Sales orders
- Purchase orders
- Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion and maintain competitiveness
- Manage customer and supplier returns, non-conformances (per procedures)
- Liaise with Business Development Managers as required
- Maintain proactive communication with:
- Customers
- Suppliers
- Internal teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and HSEQ processes
Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) Compliance
- Adhere to all company policies within the integrated management system
- Promote a safe working environment, meeting all health and safety standards
- Act with integrity, ensuring all mandatory training is completed

Required qualities for this role include:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and time management
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach
- Confidence using systems and standard IT packages
- Ability to work under pressure while managing competing priorities
- Leadership capability with a focus on team development
