Job Description
Working within the in-house creative team for TJX Europe, this role will be responsible for providing excellent Account Management support for the European Brand & Marketing team.
A key liaison point within the European Activation team for creative projects and to be responsible for the partner relationship and management of campaign delivery from concept through to delivery. Ensuring that all work developed is on brief, delivered on time and to budget.
This role will have a specific focus on allocated areas of responsibility within the Brand & Marketing department and in relation to both our brands, TK Maxx and Homesense across Europe. Some examples of these areas relate to brand and tactical campaign development, digital content across web, email and social, corporate responsibility, internal communications and the in-store environment.
What you'll do
Stakeholder Management/ Leadership
- Brand Activation Managers will focus on managing the relationship with their respective COE functions and the high-level leads of projects.
- Manage and plan the scope of work for their respective functions on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and maintain an activity plan for their area of business and ensure briefs are being delivered on time.
- Overview of all briefs relating to your area of responsibility and where necessary challenge, add value and mentor Account Managers.
- Overview of all schedules for briefs – manage expectations of delivery and finding solutions where necessary to achieve deadlines.
- Escalation point for your functional areas of responsibility to resolve issues or review processes.
- Monitor workflow system (Workfront/Trello) to ensure briefs are responded to efficiently and accepted into the department.
- Educate and support respective functions around processes to follow, and their role in projects being delivered brilliantly and efficiently.
- Always looking for ways to improve processes and ways of working to make it easier for everyone.
- Strategic input/ support to function representing a view from the Creative Team.
- Maintain strong relationships with partner contacts & external agencies.
- Set up regular 1:1 meetings with stakeholders in relation to the functional areas you oversee at all levels.
- Be integral to the development and delivery of creative solutions, a source of innovation and insight to the functional area.
- Represent your stakeholders views internally within the Creative Team.
- Keep ‘in the know’ about what’s happening in the TJX world and the wider retail industry.

Account Management Leadership
- Provide support and mentoring to the Account Management team to ensure processes are understood and adhered to and projects remain on track.
- Workload monitoring and project allocation for the Account Management team.
- Ensure the account management team understand and are responsive to the requirements of the business.
- Be responsible for leading the internal status meetings and ensuring that any actions from them are carried out.
- Input into the compiling of the work lists with the Traffic Manager and that your teams are updating regularly on requirements.
- Support team on additional projects as and when required.
- Work closely with other Account Managers to drive excellence into how the team perform overall.
Production
- Develop strong relationships with the Creative Producers, Studio Manager and Print Production teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
- Ensure that the Production teams – both Print and Creative production receive the creative brief.
- Work closely with production functions to develop and produce accurate critical paths.
- Support the end-to-end oversight of final delivery of materials to market, working with internal team to ensure information is being shared and campaign delivery is supported and on track.
- Communicate timelines to all concerned and ensure all parties remain on track.
- Work closely with the print management team to develop knowledge about print and production process in order to advise clients.
- Upskill yourselves and your teams in all areas relating to asset production ie digital, print, video.
- Develop a complete overview of production localization and campaign delivery.
Financial management
- Responsible for overall activation budget tracking and ensuring projects remains on track.
- Ensure that budgets are clearly defined on any creative briefs, whether we are the budget holder or the budget sits elsewhere.
- Be responsible for communicating to client any production estimates or external costs incurred on projects that relate to their own budget.
- Ensure that any finance reconciliations are also sent to partners.
- Provide line manager with a topline summary of costs and forecasts for the year on a monthly basis.

Talent & Team Development
- Provide feedback, support and guidance to the Account Management team.
- Ensure performance reviews are carried out twice a year, setting and working towards SMART objectives.
- Upskill team; attendance of courses or offsite days to keep the team engaged.
- Provide guidance and support to the team to aid their personal development.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in an account management or project management role within a creative agency or client side.
- Experience in Retail, Brand Campaigns, Social, E-commerce, eCRM marketing, AI, social media.
- Experience of managing people & leading teams.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects across all channels.
- Have good creative judgment and creative strategic skills and ensure it delivers the clients’ objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
- Great communicator – being articulate in voicing opinions and leading meetings where appropriate.
- Knowledge and understanding of retail environment and retail marketing.
- An understanding of the digital marketing process.
- Understanding of web and digital.
- Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Workfront and Trello.
- Keep calm under pressure.
- Can do attitude and team player.
