Role Overview
Become the face of Mondelez in your territory
Location & Contract: Field-Based | 24 hours per week | Permanent
Salary & Incentives:
- Annual salary: £15,862.08 (£12.71 per hour)
- Up to 15% quarterly bonus
- On-target earnings (OTE): up to £18,241 per annum
Coverage Area: Portsmouth, Havant, Gosport and surrounding regions
About the Role
Smollan is seeking a confident, proactive field-based professional to represent some of the UK’s favourite brands, including Cadbury, Oreo, Belvita, and Maynards Bassetts.
In this Field Brand Ambassador position, you’ll blend expert merchandising skills with strong negotiation and relationship-building expertise. This involves collaborating closely with store managers and colleagues to enhance product visibility, availability, and adherence to promotional standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Building Relationships
- Establish strong partnerships with store managers and colleagues
- Empower effective communication and negotiation to secure support for promotional activities, displays, and compliance measures
- Serve as a trusted ambassador for Mondelez brands within your allocated territory
2. Delivering In-Store Excellence
- Implement planograms and merchandising initiatives
- Design eye-catching displays and promotional features
- Ensure products are always available and visible for shoppers

3. Driving Performance
- Identify opportunities for compliance and availability improvements
- Utilise store insights to pursue sales growth
- Support territory objectives via consistent, high-calibre execution
Key Requirements
- Experience in merchandising, retail, customer service, or field-based roles
- Demonstrated strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence influencing and negotiating with retail stakeholders
- Proactive approach to spotting opportunities and problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and manage a self-directed territory
- Commercial awareness with a commitment to delivering tangible results
