About Us

SPACE Student Accommodation and East Sands Student Accommodation provide high-quality, purpose-built homes for students in two of Scotland's most vibrant university communities: St Andrews and Aberdeen. We believe student accommodation should be more than a room — it should be a place where students feel at home, build friendships, and get the most out of their university experience.

We're now looking for a talented Brand and Campaigns Manager to take ownership of our brands and drive the marketing campaigns that fill our buildings and bring our communities to life.

The Role

As Brand and Campaigns Manager, you'll be the guardian of the SPACE and East Sands brands and the driving force behind our marketing activity. Working closely with our property, sales and central marketing team, you'll plan and deliver creative, insight-led campaigns across the full student lettings cycle — from early-bird rebooking pushes through to summer clearing and international student recruitment.

This is a genuinely hands-on role in a small, ambitious team, where you'll shape strategy one day and roll your sleeves up on content the next.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the annual marketing and campaigns plan for SPACE (St Andrews and Aberdeen) and East Sands, aligned to occupancy and revenue targets
  • Own and evolve our brand identities, ensuring consistency in tone of voice, visual identity, and customer experience across every touchpoint
  • Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel campaigns spanning digital advertising, social media, email, on-site events, university partnerships, and print
  • Manage our websites, listings on student accommodation portals, and paid media activity, using data and analytics to continually improve performance and return on spend
  • Create and commission engaging content — photography, video, copy, and social — that authentically reflects life in our properties
  • Build strong relationships with the Universities of St Andrews and Aberdeen, students' associations, local businesses, and letting agents
  • Support resident engagement and events programmes that build community, drive rebooker rates, and generate word-of-mouth advocacy
  • Report on campaign performance to senior leadership
  • Conduct market and competitor research to keep our pricing, positioning, and propositions sharp in both cities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
