Brand Specialist (Full-Price Sales) – NEXT UK & International
Working Pattern 5 days in office (flexible core hours: 8am–6pm)
- Minimum of 2 days a week in client offices
- 3 days at NEXT HQ.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Brand Specialist to drive growth of our brand’s full-price sales across NEXT UK and International. This is a standout opportunity to shape the brand’s future in a leading retail environment.
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Head of Merchandising, working closely with cross-functional teams, including:
- Buying
- Merchandising
- Design
- Marketing
Key Objectives
- Establish partnerships internally and externally to accelerate brand growth and maximise revenue.
- Leverage data and intelligence to optimise product pricing, marketing, and retail strategies.
- Ensure brand consistency and success in high-priority markets.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Growth Strategy
- Accountable for growing the brand’s full-price sales across:
- NEXT UK
- NEXT International
- SEASONS (where applicable)
Partnerships & Collaborations
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders at NEXT, including:
- Buying, Merchandising, Design, and Marketing teams
- Develop external relationships with client senior leads.
Product Ranging
- Budget and option planning
- Ranking of key product lines
- Support buyer decisions on product assortments by analysing:
- Previous/current seasonal performance
- Brand insights
- Identify growth opportunities through label data analysis
- Monitor stock replenishment and performance trends to drive decisions.
Trading & Forecasting
- Continuous review of sales by size
- Update size guidelines based on data
- In-season trading and replenishment analysis
- Use brand stock data for quick inventory decisions
- Optimise performance of ‘Label +’ (assist in conversion to stock)
- Actively manage ISR and closing off underperforming lines
- Data-driven sales optimisation across international markets
- Conduct markdown and RTB reviews
- Perform regular competitor analysis
- Oversee AI functionality implementation
- Daily checks on:
- Operations compliance with SLAs
- Product availability
- Refurbishment queries

Marketing & Brand Strength
- Collaborate with brand leads to produce best-in-class marketing content and assets:
- Copy
- Imagery
- Social media presence (based on tiering)
- Tabbing and product integration into BAU campaigns
- Ensure full collaboration and brand sustainability alignment
- Drive SEO enhancements and online traffic strategies
- Festival campaigns and seasonal promotions.
Meetings & Reporting
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reporting
- Organise and lead performance workshops
- Action follow-ups from internal and client meetings
- Attend all relevant business reviews and buys.
What Qualifies You
We are looking for an outstanding, commercially astute professional with:
- Proactive mind-set with strong communication and influence.
- Experience and expertise in trading, ranging, retail markets, and brand management.
- Capable of converting data insights into actionable strategies.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented; enjoys a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- A passion for brand excellence and sustainable retailing.
