Role: Brand Manager
Location: Home-based with hybrid working in our offices

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Brand Manager to join the marketing team of one of the UK's leading food businesses, working on a major household food brand with an iconic heritage and exciting growth ambitions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate FMCG marketer to take ownership of an established category-leading brand, helping shape its future through innovation, strategic brand development, and commercial delivery.
Working within a collaborative and high-performing marketing team, you'll be responsible for driving brand growth, developing the innovation pipeline, managing the brand P&L, and delivering impactful marketing plans that delight consumers and customers alike.
The Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and executing the long-term growth strategy for one of the business's flagship brands. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Category, Insights, Supply Chain, NPD, and external agencies, to deliver innovative projects, build compelling customer propositions, and maximize commercial performance.
This is a highly visible role offering genuine ownership and the opportunity to influence the future direction of a much-loved UK food brand.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy
- Support the development and delivery of long-term brand growth strategies.
- Analyse market, consumer, and retailer data to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor brand performance using market data and consumer insights to inform decision-making.
- Present strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Innovation & Product Development
- Lead the development of a three-year innovation pipeline.
- Identify emerging consumer, category, and flavor trends.
- Develop inspiring product briefs for innovation and renovation projects.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products successfully to market.
Project Leadership
- Lead multiple cross-functional projects from concept through to launch.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Product Development.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes.
Marketing Planning
- Develop integrated marketing plans aligned with commercial objectives.
- Build compelling brand stories and customer presentations.
- Support retailer engagement and successful activation of brand plans.
- Manage relationships with external creative, media, and research agencies.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximize return on investment.
- Monitor brand performance and profitability.
- Support the delivery of revenue and profit targets through commercially focused decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability across the brand portfolio.

About You
We're looking for a commercially minded Brand Manager who combines creativity with strong analytical thinking and enjoys working in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 2 years' experience in Brand Management or Marketing within an FMCG business.
- A degree (2:1 or above), ideally in Marketing or Business (CIM qualification advantageous).
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and delivering successful product launches.
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of brand P&L management.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using consumer, shopper, and market data to inform marketing decisions.
- A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for building brands and delivering innovative consumer-led solutions.
