What you’ll do: As Brand Manager, Cardiometabolic Health UK, you will be part of a high performing team bringing innovative medicines to patients across the UK with cardiometabolic health conditions. You will be responsible for developing brand strategy and delivering a data driven and strategically focussed solutions to deliver for healthcare professionals and patients with impact. This is a high profile role with high visibility; demonstrable leadership skills, cross functional working, flexibility and adaptability are essential. Key Responsibilities: Maintain External Focus Develop deep understanding of the evolving market landscape, competitive landscape, and value needs of patients, health care providers, and payers and utilise these insights to continually inform brand strategy and operational plan. Partner in innovation readiness strategic considerations/plan, brand contingency planning, scenario planning, external competitive understanding and external analysis. Partner closely with field teams to maintain strong understanding of customer and field needs. Build and sustain relationships with key thought leaders. Development and delivery of Strategy and Operational Plans Development and delivery of brand strategy and operational plan in line with Global Brand Strategy. Ensure all brand tactics are insight- and data-driven and deliver against specific brand objectives aligned with the commercial strategy. Based on a Global with Local approach, leverage tactics and solutions from the International business unit where possible and develop insights-based marketing strategies and plans that create exceptional customer experiences that lead to the achievement of business objectives and results. Collaborate closely with international business unit teams to co-create key campaigns. See through development/localisation, approval (Veeva Promo Mats), launch and evaluation end to end for priority solutions. Collaborate across a diverse brand team, working effectively with the cross-functional team members from including medical, sales, regulatory, corporate affairs, finance and market research. Maintain Integrity Set the standard for hub compliance within new channels and customer groups Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensure adherence to ABPI code and other relevant guidelines. Build relationships with certifiers and E&C to understand how to achieve goals compliantly. What we’re looking for: Key requirements: Proven Marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry or FMCG Experience with brand development, strategy, and planning Demonstrable leadership skills (particularly in cross-functional collaboration, decision making and leading without authority) to deliver results. Additional Skills/Preferences Experience in disease states related to cardiometabolic health, enabling effective targeting and communication within this therapeutic area. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, coupled with a keen understanding of commercial drivers in the industry. Proven capability to deliver results and maintain performance under challenging and uncertain conditions. Advanced proficiency in analysing data, as well as strong organisational and planning abilities to support business objectives. Excellent communicator with the capacity to influence stakeholders and facilitate collaboration across teams. Ability to quickly adapt to new information and changing circumstances, ensuring continuous professional growth. Familiarity with Veeva Promo Mats, supporting compliance and efficient management of promotional materials. Ability to travel occasionally for meetings or events (up to 20%).
