Brand Manager – Entrepreneurial FMCG Company

Location: Berks/M4 Corridor – Hybrid 3 days/week office
Contract Type: Permanent
Package: £50K-60K plus £6K cash car allowance + bonus

Our client is a dynamic global FMCG business with a portfolio of much-loved household name brands, combining heritage brand strength with entrepreneurial energy and a commitment to continuous learning and creating opportunities for its employees. With a new and ambitious growth plan, and team of blue-chip trained marketers, it is seeking an experienced, commercially-savvy BRAND MANAGER to take on an ambitious remit to drive one of its key brands in the UK market in a competitive and busy category. Position Overview

In this challenging role, you'll own your brands on a day-to-day basis, with responsibility for the P&L, revenue and market share and the annual brand strategy. You'll develop and execute compelling integrated marketing campaigns, collaborating across functions to identify growth opportunities 📈 and use consumer & shopper insights to shape brand direction and activity.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading development and delivery of the annual UK brand plan with clear commercial objectives
  • Owning the brand P&L with accountability for ambitious market share and revenue targets
  • Building a powerful innovation pipeline, with short and longer-term targets
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration with sales, innovation, finance and supply chain teams
  • Identifying business growth initiatives underpinned by consumer and shopper insight and market analysis
  • Managing integrated A&P, shopper and digital/social campaigns, working closely with external agencies
  • Analysing data from sources including Nielsen and Kantar to monitor performance
  • Presenting brand insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders

Who are we looking for

  • Minimum 3-4 years' robust FMCG brand marketing experience
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering 360-degree campaigns across traditional and digital channels
  • Robust academic background to degree level
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and consumer insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in digital marketing and on-line campaign management
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
