Job Title: Brand Manager – J2O
Location: Hybrid – Hemel Hempstead
Job Length: Fixed Term Contract - 9 Months (would consider day rate contractors)

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.
About the Role:
As Brand Manager for J2O, you will join a creative, fun and supportive team who are driven to grow the category and brand. Focusing on accelerating innovation, we are looking for a Brand Manager to lead this agenda across the channels.

Role Responsibilities:
- Champion J2O and inspire the organisation around the brand’s opportunity.
- Support in shaping and delivering the business agenda for J2O through the development of annual operating, marking and commercial plans.
- Act as the guardian for the J2O brand identity, delivering the brand for growth and positioning, creating and managing effective asset creation and approvals – bringing the brand to life across the commercial function to build engagement and inspire delivery.
- Managing agency relationships, motivating them to produce exceptional work for J2O that build brand equity.
- Lead the cross functional team, ensuring clarity and delivery of project’s and priorities.
- Working with the Marketing Controller to develop a winning innovation pipeline.
- Build collaborative and positive working relationships with the brand marketing community.
- Using insights and understanding to develop innovative propositions, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and insights partners.
- Support in creating a positive and successful team environment, where people are encouraged.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Brand leadership experience is needed, preferably in FMCG, ideally working on a significant scale brand.
- High level of Brand P&L value management experience.
- Experience of working with 3rd party creative and activation agencies.
- Strong project management, planning and delivery skills.
- Cross functional leadership capability, both internally and with 3rd party strategic partners.
- Creativity in delivering an inspiring and compelling vision and brand strategy.
- Experience in strategic brand and business planning with sound evidence of consumer & shopper insight-led strategy implementation.
- Demonstrable track record of success driving a brand led agenda within commercial, matrix organisations, resulting in brand equity growth and enhanced business profitability.
- Cross-team management experience with ability to inspire, grow and develop people in a matrix structure.
