Job Description
In 2021, pladis proudly opened the doors to our vibrant global hub, the MIU Campus. Located in the heart of Chiswick Park, West London. Just a short 5-minute walk from Gunnersbury Station, our campus is nestled within 33 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, offering a welcoming and inspiring environment for all. Chiswick Park is home to both our UK and Global Corporate teams, bringing together diverse teams across the business.
What will this role achieve?
As a Brand Manager within the Social Sharing, you will be accountable for driving the development and execution of brand strategy, working closely with commercial teams to deliver growth plans and build compelling, distinctive marketing programmes. The role requires strong leadership and influencing skills to inspire and gain commitment across functions and seniority levels, with regular exposure to Director and UK Exec audiences. You will have full ownership of revenue and profit delivery across a brand portfolio, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that achieve both short- and long-term financial targets while building market-leading brands that people talk about.
What will be your key deliverables?
- Lead elements of the brand portfolio, monitoring performance, recommending actions, and motivating cross-functional teams to drive results
- Partner with line manager to define and deliver the 3-year strategic plan
- Develop and deliver annual brand plans aligned to sales, profit targets, and pladis UK performance metrics
- Regularly review performance and take corrective action where required
- Use data and insights to drive projects and inform brand development
- Work with manager and cross-agency teams to deliver integrated marketing initiatives
- Own innovation and renovation projects, including project management, cross-functional leadership, and monthly gate reviews
- Act as brand and consumer champion within pladis UK
- Develop and deliver integrated marketing plans across OOH, digital, social, and in-store channels
- Commercially manage the brand portfolio to achieve performance targets
- Identify market opportunities through consumer insight and competitive analysis to drive brand growth and share gain
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver brand-building activity, in-store activation, and new product launches
- Influence and engage stakeholders to gain commitment without formal authority
- Build strong relationships with technical development and supply chain teams on renovation projects

Essential
- Experience in Brand Management within and FMCG environment
- Strong Project Management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience of IRI/Nielsen and Kantar data
- Self-starter with an ability to work across multiple projects and subject areas

What will the interview process be?
- Initial Telephone call with Talent Acquisition
- 1st stage interview – 45 minutes competency-based interview based on our company values and your experiences.
- 2nd stage interview – 90 minutes – a technical interview to understand your skill set/case study or presentation interview.
pladis does also use both Psychometric and Aptitude tests to support our processes so you may be asked to complete these as part of your process. Some processes may differ, but we will keep you updated!
