About the Role
XYZ Robotics is expanding its marketing team with a PR & Brand Manager who will own the company's media presence across global markets. You'll build and manage media relationships from the ground up, shape how XYZ Robotics is positioned in the press, and work closely with the Marketing Director on brand narrative.
What You'll Do
Media & PR — Core Focus
- Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets across robotics, logistics tech, and B2B tech verticals—both domestic and international
- Independently pitch stories, coordinate interviews, and manage press inquiries end-to-end
- Write and edit press releases, bylines, and executive commentary that meet publication standards without heavy oversight
- Monitor media coverage and proactively identify opportunities and risks

Content & Brand Voice
- Own the quality and consistency of all external-facing PR content in English
- Work with product content and design teams to ensure brand messaging is coherent across materials
- Develop and articulate XYZ Robotics' overarching brand narrative—translating technical strengths into compelling market positioning
Cross-functional & Events Support
- Brief internal stakeholders on media positioning ahead of major announcements or events
- Coordinate PR activities around trade shows (domestic: 1/year; international: 6–8/year), including pre-show outreach and on-site press engagement
What We're Looking For

Must-haves
- 4–7 years of PR experience spanning both Chinese and international media landscapes
- Proven track record of independently managing media relationships—not just executing tasks handed down
- Strong writing in both Chinese and English; able to produce clean, publication-ready copy
- Experience in B2B tech (enterprise software, intelligent hardware, supply chain tech, or adjacent sectors)
- Comfortable operating with limited structure and building processes from scratch
Nice-to-haves
- Background in robotics, logistics tech, or supply chain industries
- Existing network with relevant trade and business media
- Experience supporting high-profile product launches or company milestone announcements
