Brand Manager – Premium Beer

Location & Contract

Hybrid – Hemel Hempstead (with expected travel to other Carlsberg Britvic sites) 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) – Full-Time

The Role: Brand Manager – Premium Beer

Reporting to a Marketing Controller, this key role focuses on 1664, a flagship premium beer brand, driving growth in the UK.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the 1664 growth strategy, expanding customer reach, increasing loyalty, and strengthening brand equity
  • Translate long-term brand vision into commercially driven annual plans, owning brand and financial performance
  • Lead end-to-end, multi-channel communications, ensuring seamless integration of:
    • ATL (Above-The-Line) campaigns
    • Digital & social media strategies
    • Experiential marketing
    • Shopper-focused initiatives
  • Design and deliver high-impact integrated campaigns, balancing short-term gains with long-term brand building
  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring consistency, relevance, and distinction across all consumer touchpoints
  • Own the creative process—from insight-led briefs to executing high-quality campaigns
  • Manage & inspire agency partners, driving performance against timelines, budgets, and KPIs
  • Engage key stakeholders and customers, advocating for the brand to harness growth opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional teams (insights, supply chain, finance, commercial) to deliver alignment and high-impact results
  • Optimise the A&P (Above-and-Below-The-Line) budget, ensuring smart investment for maximum ROI
  • Adopt a test-and-learn mindset to refine strategies, driving continuous improvement
