Location: Hybrid – Hemel Hempstead, with expected travel to other Carlsberg Britvic sites
Job Length: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (Full Time)

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK, home to some of the most iconic and beloved brands, including:
- Beer: Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, Brooklyn (ale favourites like Hobgoblin & Wainwright)
- Soft Drinks: J2O, Robinsons, Tango, London Essence, along with UK Pepsi licence portfolio (Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea & Rockstar Energy).
With 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depots, supporting customers nationwide, Carlsberg Britvic thrives on one goal: empowering our teams to drive success.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Brand Manager – Premium Beer, reporting to the Marketing Controller, to spearhead the 1664 growth strategy in the UK. This role will define and execute initiatives that blur the line between commercial success and brand equity.
Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver the 1664 growth strategy, scaling customer reach, frequency, and brand equity.
- Convert long-term vision into commercially robust annual plans, owning both brand execution and financial performance.
- Manage end-to-end, multi-channel marketing, including ATL, digital, social, experiential, and shopper marketing, ensuring optimal integration.
- Craft and oversee integrated campaigns that align short-term results with long-term brand building.
- Act as the brand guardian, enforcing consistency and distinctive execution across all touchpoints.
- Lead the creative process from insight-driven briefs through to high-impact campaign delivery, ensuring agencies meet briefs creatively and commercially.
- Collaborate with agency partners, driving performance against KPIs, timelines, and budget.
- Advocate for the brand with key stakeholders and customers, identifying growth opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams (commercial, insights, supply, finance) for aligned, impactful plans.
- Own and optimise expenditure (A&P budgets), ensuring high-ROI investment.
- Foster a test-and-learn mindset to continuously refine and escalate performance.

Requirements & Attributes
- Extensive experience in FMCG brand management, with a track record in large, established brands.
- Expertise in delivering integrated multi-channel campaigns from strategy to execution.
- Experience guiding agencies to deliver high-quality creative work that drives results.
- Strong strategic outlook, translating data into actionable, financially driven growth plans.
- Sharp creative instincts, with an understanding of what works at scale.
- Commercial acumen, with experience ownership of budgets and P&L management.
- Ability to navigate complex org structures, aligning stakeholders across teams.
- Proven cross-functional leadership, with a track record of driving outcomes through others.
- Thoroughly organised, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results.
