Job Title: Brand Marketing Assistant

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)
Location: Hybrid - 2 days working from Head Office based in Wembley Park; 3 days working from home
Reports to: Senior Content & Campaign Executive; dotted line to Brand Marketing & Partnerships Manager

About The Role

Passionate about marketing, fashion and culture and keen to develop your career as a brand marketeer within a globally-recognised brand? This is an exciting opportunity to join the Brand Marketing team at Casio UK, working across G-SHOCK and Casio timepieces, supporting key brand initiatives during a period of significant digital growth, particularly within the D2C channel. The Brand Marketing Assistant will be integral to the seamless execution of social media, campaigns, and brand collaborations. We are looking for a proactive, socially-native, highly organised, and detail-oriented individual, eager to develop a career in brand marketing.

Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities across several core areas of the Brand Marketing function:

Social Media Support

  • Work closely with our social media agency to oversee the building of social calendars, helping to brief and guide compelling on-brand copy.
  • Assist in the briefing, sourcing, and coordination of social content, ensuring all materials align with overall brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Assist in the capture of organic social content at events and activations as required.
  • Monitor social media performance and key platform trends, providing regular insights and recommendations to optimize future content and strategy.

Campaign Delivery

  • Support the end-to-end execution of brand marketing campaigns, focusing on aligning timelines, managing asset requirements, liaising with suppliers and content creators.
  • Support in the coordination of internal teams and external partners to ensure campaigns are delivered to brief and within established deadlines.
  • Assist in tracking overall campaign performance and preparing ad hoc reports as required.

Collaborations & Partnerships

  • Support the planning and execution of brand collaborations and partnerships, including logistics for product launches and partner activations.
  • Work with external partners and the brand marketing team to support the execution of brand events in fashion, music, sports and culture.
  • Coordinate logistical requirements, asset delivery and communication flow with external partners and agencies.
  • Help identify and research potential collaborators to ensure alignment with the overall brand strategy.

Content & Asset Management

  • Maintain and effectively organise brand assets and files, guaranteeing that all internal teams have access to the most up-to-date and accurate materials.
  • Provide support for content shoots and production as required by the team.

Administrative & Team Support

  • Manage project timelines, trackers, and key documentation to maintain organization across multiple projects.
  • Provide comprehensive general support to the Brand Marketing team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

What we're looking for....

We're looking for a dynamic individual who brings the following skills and attributes to the table:

  • As a social and digital native, you are passionate about culture and possess a connection to or an understanding of G-SHOCK, Casio’s consumers, and their world.
  • A natural storyteller possessing excellent written fluency, an adaptable writing style, and a sharp awareness of tonal impact and brand voice.
  • Enthusiasm for brand development and pursuing a career in the marketing industry.
  • Strong organisational skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, comfortable coordinating various internal teams and external partners.
  • A proactive and positive "can-do" attitude, demonstrating a willingness to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Analytical skills to assist with monitoring performance and reporting on campaign outcomes.
  • Proficiency in managing documentation, trackers and Microsoft tools (experience with Excel or similar tools is beneficial).
  • Previous experience in the fashion and timepiece industries is advantageous but not required.
