Brand Marketing Manager
Description Footasylum is a leading UK-based retailer specialising in streetwear and sportswear, committed to delivering innovative and trend-setting products to our customers, with a strong focus on digital transformation and data-driven decision-making. We are looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to join the well-established Marketing team at Footasylum. This is a brand new role with the opportunity to oversee brand marketing across 50+ third party brands and 10 Footasylum own brands. You will manage a high functioning and talented team of 3, reporting directly into the Head of Marketing. The role is a vital one internally and externally, being the face of Footasylum marketing with all brand partners and driving success and expansion of own brands across UK and International markets. You will oversee strategy, 7 figure budgets and team management while also having your own brands and campaigns to run partnering with brands such as Nike, adidas, New Balance & more. Internal and external relationship management/building is vital to the role and the candidate will need to display excellent communication skills. Working with our internal buying, merchandising, creative, wholesale, ecomm & retail will all be vital to the success of the role, as well as external relationship building and maintaining. You’ll be working in a fast paced and energetic environment and will be expected to bring a level of maturity and passion within the role. Experience within fashion or brand roles would be preferable as well as previous management of a team. We will expect you to leverage understanding of youth culture to develop and progress strategy for brand partners as well as reporting back on campaign performance via pre agreed ROIs.
The Team The brand marketing team functions as a part of the larger marketing department and we work extremely closely with creative, ecomm and the studio team to bring brands/campaigns to market, in line with the individual consumer groups. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will have weekly meetings to discuss ongoing workload and goal setting. Our goal is to create an environment in which you can learn new skills, gain experience in existing ones and improve your knowledge of the consumer continually. You will be supported in your journey and will be pushed to take on new challenges and expand your knowledge of the brand marketing team. You will be confident, have strong stakeholder management skills, passionate and the drive to learn every day. You will be organised and have the ability to manage multiple projects at once. You will have knowledge of the current Footasylum consumer with trends, cultural moments, and social media. Along with; · High level of organisation, communication and creative flair. · Self-motivated and have an ability to problem solve. · Be passionate about consumers and trends. · 5+ years’ experience in marketing/brand. · 3+ years’ experience with managing a team Responsibilities · You will be doing campaign management across key 3PB including brief, strategic direction, rollout, budget management and brand relationship. · You will oversee and develop current own brands (x10) alongside two marketing executives. This will also include wholesale and any new brands we bring to market. · You will control and monitor budgets across all brand activity. · You will work closely to understand campaign and brand KPIs (alongside head of marketing, buying, merchandising, brands, wholesale partners, etc). · You will lead a team of 3 to drive further success within the team. · You will be doing calendar management. · You will deputise for Head of Marketing when required.
