About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Brand Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the Springer Health+ and Adis brands across global, local, and journal portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Communications
- Strengthen and differentiate the Springer Health+ and Adis brands, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging and identity across global markets
- Act as a brand ambassador, driving internal alignment and reinforcing brand values across teams
- Maintain a unified tone of voice, messaging, and visual guidelines in all communications, including PR, external PR, conference engagement, and industry relations
- Elevate brand visibility through proactive partnership-building with stakeholders

Thought Leadership & Content
- Develop thought leadership initiatives that bolster brand authority and shape industry discourse, supporting commercial objectives
- Collaborate with scientific, editorial, and commercial teams to produce high-impact, data-driven content, including:
- White papers & industry reports
- Knowledge-driven case studies
- Engaging webinars & articles
- Executive insights & thought leadership commentary
- Simplify complex scientific and healthcare concepts into clear, audience-led narratives
- Integrate AI-assisted tools to refine content research, ideation, and scalability while ensuring editorial accuracy
Strategic Marketing & Campaigns
- Craft and execute multi-channel B2B marketing strategies designed to increase brand affinity and commercial engagement
- Fashion and execute campaigns across:
- Digital platforms
- Targeted content Trilogies
- Events & conferences
- Direct messaging (email & personalized channels)
- Social media & influencer partnerships
- Adopt a data-driven approach, continuously refining messaging and targeting using AI-powered analytics to maximise ROI
Leadership & Collaboration
- Balance external brand advocacy alongside internal alignment between leading teams
- Partner with commercial, editorial, and scientific teams to ensure marketing efforts align with strategic goals
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration with sales & business development to nurture leads
- Oversee partnerships with external agencies, freelancers, and design suppliers
About You
We seek a scientifically astute, commercially driven marketer who thrives at the intersection of marketing strategy and scientific communication. Ideal candidates will:
- Proven expertise in healthcare, medical publishing, or scientific marketing
- Commercial acumen, combined with a passion for telling compelling, complex stories
- Diplomacy and influence in working with senior stakeholders and diverse teams
- Creative fluency in translating medical and research insights into accessible formats
- Fast-paced adaptability, with a track record of measurable campaign execution

Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant field
- Experience in healthcare communications, scientific publishing, medical education, or related disciplines
- Demonstrated capability to deliver complex integrated B2B marketing campaigns
- Content strategy & storytelling mastery, especially within scientific or healthcare domains
- Proficient at translating scientific or medical research into engaging campaigns
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including commercial, editorial, and scientific specialists
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Solid project management and organisational capabilities
- Data-driven mindset with a proven ability to analyse campaign success
- Interest in leveraging AI tools for content creation, research, or strategic growth
Desirable Additional Advantages
- Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and analytics (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Hands-on familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools for content development
- SEO and social strategy knowledge, with experience developing meaningful audience campaigns
