BRAND MARKETING MANAGER
Remote - UK - Full Time
THE ROLE
Your role? Make Tonic famous, for all the right reasons. You'll own our brand strategy end to end: building awareness, shaping how the world sees us, and making sure every single touchpoint, a shelf in Boots, a brand activation, an email in someone's inbox, feels unmistakably us. This is a brand at a genuinely exciting moment. You'll have real ownership, real scale to play with, and the chance to leave your fingerprints on what Tonic becomes next.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Brand Strategy: Help build and evolve Tonic's brand strategy, positioning and long-term narrative. This isn't just words in a deck, it's the thinking that shapes everything else on this list
- Brand Identity: Guard our tone of voice and identity like it's precious (because it is), keeping it consistent and unmistakably Tonic across DTC and retail
- Insights: Get properly nosy about our customers, our category and our competitors. The sharper your understanding, the sharper our brand
- Copy: Review and approve all customer-facing copy and storytelling: messaging, website, email, press releases
- Marketing Plan: Own the marketing plan and get every team pulling in the same direction, so every piece of comms works hard for the brand + numbers
- Marketing Campaigns: Turn product launches and big commercial moments into narratives people actually want to engage with across every channel
- Partnerships: Lead brand partnerships and collabs end to end: finding the right partners, shaping the concept, and seeing it through to execution
- Brand Activations: Spot and shape the moments where Tonic shows up in real life and turn them into experiences that build brand fame
- Retail Marketing: Work hand-in-hand with the Retail team to make sure every in-store asset means Tonic shows up brilliantly on shelf
- Reporting: Own brand tracking and reporting, awareness, equity, competitor benchmarking, and turn what you find into action

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
