Brand Specialist

Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), UK Fresh – Strategic Account Role

Key Job Responsibilities

Our Brand Specialist will manage the relationship with our UK Fresh vendors at an European level, acting as their dedicated consultant. Your role focuses on four critical business areas:

1. Core Service

  • Leverage analytical skills to uncover growth opportunities for vendors
  • Drive adoption of Amazon Business programs (e.g., subscription services) for long-term vendor success
  • Provide tailored recommendations to boost business performance

2. Availability & Operational Excellence

  • Optimise supply-chain operational effectiveness:
    • Reduce costs, defects, lead times, and key KPIs
  • Manage vendor stock levels across fulfilment centres via Amazon’s ordering processes

3. Promotion & Funding

  • Advise vendors on marketing campaigns, advertising, and promotions
  • Plan and execute high-impact events:
    • Prime Day management
    • Brand Week development
  • Enhance product visibility to increase traffic and conversions

4. Selection & IDQ (Item Data Quality)

  • Expand the vendor product catalogue by facilitating launches and improving discoverability
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, direct customer experience assessments (e.g., walk-through-store sessions)
  • Ensure high-quality product detail pages (enhanced content, updated item data)

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Marketing
  • Proven experience in:
    • Procurement, negotiation, sales, consulting, supply chain management, or project/product management
    • Marketing (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluent English (speaking, writing, reading) required for coordination

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past experience in customer-facing roles
  • Strong analytical and oral/written communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects with aligned priorities
  • Familiarity with tools such as:
    • Google Analytics, SQL, or Basic HTML
    • E-commerce platforms (content management systems)
    • Portfolio planning/time management frameworks
