Brand Specialist in Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) – UK Fresh

Strategic Account Management for E-Commerce Growth

At Amazon, we’re looking for curious, innovative thinkers who are eager to drive success for our strategic retail vendors. Building on your expertise, you’ll work directly with our key Vendors across UK Fresh, shaping their growth while gaining 360° e-commerce exposure at a European level.


About the Role

As a Brand Specialist in Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), you will act as a consultant and strategic partner to our vendors, driving selection, promotion, and operational excellence. This role is a cross-functional opportunity to work with stakeholders on supply chain, finance, marketing, and product innovation, while accelerating your career within Amazon EU.

Your core responsibilities span four critical business areas:


Key Responsibilities

Core Service

  • Leverage analytical skills to identify growth opportunities for Retail Vendors and propose actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Vendors to maximise engagement with Amazon’s programs, ensuring long-term business value.

Availability & Operational Excellence

  • Lead supply chain optimisation by reducing costs, defects, lead times, and KPI benchmarks.
  • Manage and monitor stock levels while implementing efficient ordering mechanisms.

Promotion & Funding

  • Advise Vendors on marketing strategies, including ads, product launches, and Amazon events.
  • Plan, execute, and manage promotional activities for high-impact campaigns like Prime Day and Brand Weeks.

Selection & Item Data Quality (IDQ)

  • Expand the product catalogue by driving new launches and improving discoverability.
  • Enhance the customer journey through techniques like competitor benchmarking, rising star promotions, and detailed product page optimisation.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

⚀ Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Management
  • Business Administration
  • Economics
  • Engineering
  • Marketing

⚀ Proficiency in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel (advanced), Word

⚀ Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading) + ability to follow direction in English

Preferred Qualifications

🟡 Customer-facing experience (critical for stakeholder management) 🟡 Strong communicational skills (written, verbal, presentation) 🟡 Ability to prioritise, plan, and manage multiple projects 🟡 Experience with analytical tools such as:

  • Google Analytics
  • SQL
  • HTML ✅ HTML & CMS experience (website/content management), e-commerce exposure
