Breakfast & After School Club Manager (Colchester)

Wraparound Club Manager - Before & After School Clubs Colchester (CO2 7RU) Term-Time only / 25 hours per week (additional hours and overtime is available during school holidays) Monday to Friday role / 7:30-9am and 3-6pm shifts Salary starting from £14ph (dependent on experience and qualifications) Are you passionate about creating high-quality childcare environments and leading teams to deliver outstanding experiences for children? If so, we are supporting one of the leading providers in Essex in finding a Wraparound Club Manager to lead and grow their breakfast and after school club provision at a Primary School just outside of Colchester city centre. As a Wraparound Club Manager you don't need to have any specific qualifications (having them would be great!), but you will ideally have experience working with children and...

  • Experience Leading a Team - understanding that you need to be fair, genuine and heartfelt, and respect everyone's differences and uniqueness, whilst also ensuring safety and professionalism
  • A Passion for Working with Children - we're looking for someone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests
  • Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills - you will be assisting with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range of activities, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play
  • Responsibility and Reliability - the safety and enjoyment of the children in your care will be your responsibility and all team members are required to follow specific policies and procedures. This includes completing registers, accident and incident forms and health & safety checks as needed. The children and families also benefit from consistently reliable staff
  • Communication and Engagement - all Wraparound staff are expected to conduct themselves professionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children and schools on a daily basis. You will be a representative of the organisation's brand so it's key to always be a pleasure to be around! This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
