Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Supervising food preparation to ensure consistency at all times.
  • Ensuring food is prepared following recipes, food hygiene, and allergen control protocols.
  • Effectively communicating with the breakfast team to facilitate smooth service.
  • Conducting food safety checks and maintaining documentation in accordance with regulations.
  • Assisting with stock control and communicating ingredient needs for replenishment.
  • Adhering to food hygiene regulations and enforcing procedures to meet food regulation standards and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s operating standards in all activities.
  • Maintaining cleanliness according to legal, health, and safety requirements.

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time 16 hours per week.

Salary: £13.45 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Sunday availability, mainly weekend.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment to ensure smooth breakfast service operations.
  • Strong focus on maintaining preparation levels and following recipes accurately to ensure consistency in breakfast quality.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with the breakfast team, ensuring seamless coordination during service.
  • Understanding of food hygiene and allergen control requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high standards of food safety.
  • Capacity to conduct food safety checks, maintain documentation, and assist with stock control to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, and willingness to assist with additional duties as required.
  • Proactive approach to identifying ingredient needs, communicating with the team, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold legal, health, and safety standards.
  • Enthusiasm for providing excellent guest experiences and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.

  • Quality of service and a passion for the restaurant industry are essential
  • Similar management experience is a plus
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage conflicts/issues, as well as the ability to lead by example
