Job Title: Breakfast Chef
Location: Ashburn Hotel / South Kensington
Reporting to: Hotel Manager
Job Purpose
To prepare, cook, and present a high-quality breakfast offering, including both cooked and continental options, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction and smooth kitchen operations during breakfast service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook full English breakfast and other hot menu items to a consistent standard
- Set up and maintain the continental breakfast buffet (pastries, cereals, fruits, cold items)
- Ensure all food is fresh, well-presented, and replenished promptly
- Manage breakfast service efficiently
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety (HACCP)
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation (FIFO)
- Ensure kitchen and service areas are kept clean and organised at all times
- Minimise waste and control portioning
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of breakfast preparation and service
- Ability to work independently and manage early morning shifts
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised

Working Hours
- Early morning shifts (typically 6am - 12 pm depending on business levels)
- Includes weekends and bank holidays
