The Role
We are seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to prepare a full breakfast service (Saturdays & Sundays, 6:00am–11:30am) and assist as Front of House (FOH) (Mondays, 7:00am–2:00pm). This is a permanent position with opportunities for progression and training.
As a Breakfast Chef/Catering Assistant, you will: -Lead the preparation of a high-quality breakfast service with precision and creativity. -Support in FRONT-OF-HOUSE operations on Mondays, ensuring seamless guest service. -Collaborate with our team to uphold our commitment to exceptional hospitality. -Develop your culinary skills in a dynamic, inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary TeamFront of House
- Breakfast Leadership: Supervise and execute a full breakfast service (Saturdays & Sundays), ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.
- Preparation & Cooking: Plan menus, source ingredients, and deliver imaginative dishes that reflect our commitment to culinary excellence.
- Front of House (Mon.): Assist with customer service, hospitality tasks, and day-to-day operations during Monday shifts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other chefs, catering staff, and management to maintain a hassle-free, welcoming experience.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to food safety standards and BaxterStorey’s high operating protocols.

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience
✔ Cooking experience (proven ability to prepare breakfast or catering dishes). ✔ Knowledge of Food Safety Management (e.g., Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable). ✔ Work ethic. Passion for customer service and a desire to evolve in the hospitality industry.
