Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef de Partie to join their pioneering pre-opening team for this prestigious luxury hotel, set to open later this year.

Mission

An opportunity to shaped the breakfast experience at this landmark hotel, adjacent to Buckingham Palace and one of London’s most anticipated five-star destinations.

As Breakfast Chef de Partie, your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading à la carte breakfast service with culinary precision
  • Assuring quality, consistency, and refinement in all dishes
  • Supporting junior team members and guiding line execution
  • Mise en place for breakfast and other meal periods
  • Adhering to food safety protocol, including storage, hygiene, and waste prevention
  • Contributing to cost control and profit optimisation
  • Responding to guest requests with professionalism
  • Collaborating with other departments for seamless service
  • Reporting hazards in compliance with regulations

Essential Criteria

Professional Qualifications & Experience

  • Formal NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in culinary arts
  • Current Basic Food Hygiene certification
  • Prove of expertise in breakfast service (or equivalent)
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification for recommendation

Industry Standards

  • Proven ability operating efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to lead junior staff with approachable guidance
  • Exemplary communication and comfort within high-volume kitchens
