The Role
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team.
In this role, you'll take charge of preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes, ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional dining experience.
Working closely with the Head and Sous Chefs, you’ll uphold the highest culinary and hygiene standards while helping to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who thrives in early shifts, values teamwork, and has a passion for delivering memorable meals through quality ingredients and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and presenting buffet and à la carte breakfast items to a consistently high standard.
- Ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation meet our exacting expectations.
- Following all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations with absolute consistency.
- Working efficiently under pressure to ensure timely service during peak breakfast hours.
- Assisting in managing stock levels, storage, and ingredient freshness.
- Supporting the Head Chef with kitchen organisation, cleaning routines, and compliance documentation.
- Contributing to menu planning by suggesting seasonal or creative breakfast dishes.
- Collaborating with front-of-house staff to deliver a seamless guest experience.

About You
Essential
- Have previous experience in a similar role within a quality-focused kitchen, hotel, or resort.
- Have a genuine passion for food, particularly breakfast service and presentation.
- Have experience working with high volumes while maintaining consistency.
- Have excellent team spirit and communication skills.
- Have a sound knowledge of food hygiene regulations (Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or higher).
- Have the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, early-morning kitchen environment.
- Have physical stamina for long shifts and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Desirable
- Hold a NVQ or equivalent in Professional Cookery.
- Have knowledge of modern breakfast trends and dietary requirements.
- Have previous experience in luxury hotels or spa environments.

Shift Pattern
- Full-time: 45 hours per week
- Rotating weekday shifts (5 days out of 7, including weekends and holidays)
- Typical shift time: 0600hrs – 1530 hrs
- Flexibility is essential to support business needs and operational coverage
Salary: £31,087.26 per annum

- Due to our rural location, there are no public transport links; therefore, access to a reliable mode of transport is strongly recommended.
- We currently do not offer visa sponsorship, so candidates must have independent work rights in the UK.
