About the Role
As Breakfast Chef, you will oversee the efficient and high-quality execution of breakfast service in alignment with Six Senses’ signature standards.
- You will design and execute buffet and à la carte breakfast service, ensuring impeccable taste, presentation, and efficiency.
- You will handle all dish production, portion control, and presentation, maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- You will apply farm-to-table principles and refine your skills in meat, fish, and vegetable cookery using state-of-the-art equipment.
- You will uphold superior hygiene standards, fire safety, and regulatory compliance at all times.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the efficient production, portion control, and presentation of all breakfast dishes, ensuring seamless service.
- Ensure buffet presentation aligns with Six Senses’ aesthetic goals, creating inviting, visually cohesive displays every morning.
- Successfully manage à la carte breakfast service, including personalised menus and reinventive breakfast concepts.
- Prepare a variety of protein dishes (meat, seafood, poultry, and alternatives) and seafood using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other equipment with precision and creativity.
- Maintain the highest food safety standards, including storage, food handling, and waste management.
- Inspect and receive all incoming produce, verifying compliance with orders, records, and quality standards.
- Adhere to bylaws, portion sizes, cooking techniques, and kitchen protocols while adhering to sustainability guidelines.
- Ensure equipment functionality and line station stock levels to prevent disruptions during service hours.
- Uphold ** plating excellence** and garnish finesse, aligning all dishes with Six Senses’ customer experience philosophy.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate the following:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, alongside at least 2 years of professional kitchen experience, ideally in a luxury hospitality or full-service setting.
- A hospitality certification or degree from a recognized institution is a strong preference.
- Proven expertise in broiler and grill techniques, proficient knifeskills, and mastery over meat and fish cookery methods.
- A deep understanding of sustainability and farm-to-table principles.
- Fluency in English is obligatory, with multilingual abilities being a bonus.
- Right to work in the UK—sponsorship is not available for this position.
