Breakfast Chef/Catering Assistant – Permanent Position

Location: Carlisle Salary: £12.90 per hour Hours Per Week: 22

About the Role

Are you passionate about the art of cooking and eager to thrive in a role that values your creativity and ambition? As our Breakfast Chef/Catering Assistant, you’ll deliver an outstanding Saturday & Sunday breakfast service (6am–11.30am) and assist with front-of-house operations on Monday (7am–2pm).

  • Work independently to prepare and serve a full breakfast service on weekends.
  • Assist front-of-house (FOH) team members on Mondays, ensuring smooth, welcoming service.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and a passion for quality alongside an open mind to learn and grow.
  • Embrace artistic and technical versatility to support menu preparation, garnishing, and plating mastery.

Requirements

Minimum Experience

  • Hands-on experience in food preparation, preferably in a cataring context.
  • Basic understanding of Food Safety & Hygiene standards.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
