Breakfast Club Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Pay Grade: Grade C3
Full Time Salary: £24,796 (Actual Salary: £3,750.15 for 6.67 hours per week, 38 weeks per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 9:00am (including prep and clearing down time)
Starting Date: 1 September 2026
We are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional Breakfast Club Assistant to work closely with our children, providing them with a positive start to the day. As part of the school’s team, your role will be pivotal in setting children up for success and creating a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly, prioritising children’s well-being.
- Creates an environment where all children feel safe, happy, and engaged in learning.
- Effectively manages challenging behaviour with respect and compassion, adhering to our school’s Behaviour Policy.
- Supports the ethos of a Church School and contributes positively to its values.
- Builds warm, respectful relationships with children and families while maintaining confidentiality and following the Code of Conduct.
- Conscious of child protection and committed to safeguarding pupils, both within the school and at home.
- Open to opportunities for continuous professional development (CPD), including:
- First Aid training
- Annual Safeguarding/Child Protection training
