A bit about us:
Westwood with Iford School is a small primary school with a big heart. With just two classes, our children learn in mixed-age groups, creating a warm, close-knit family feel where every single child is truly seen and known. As a proud member of the Palladian Academy Trust, we are dedicated to providing excellent, equitable opportunities that allow everyone in our community to flourish.
All about the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Breakfast Club Leader to join our friendly team.
Our Breakfast Club provides a fun, safe, and nourishing start to the day for our pupils. As the Leader, you will manage the daily operations of the club, creating a welcoming morning environment. Your working hours will be 7:35am to 8:55am, Monday to Thursday, allowing time to set up before the children arrive at 7:45am and pack away after they leave for class at 8:45am.
If you have the energy, drive, and enthusiasm to inspire our young people first thing in the morning, we would love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school community.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
