Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located next to Blackfriars Station in the heart of the City of London, within walking distance of St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern and the South Bank. This Grade II listed five-star hotel stands on the historic site of King Henry VIII’s Bridewell Palace and features 205 stylish guestrooms and suites along with versatile meeting and event spaces. Dining experiences include NYnLON, a sophisticated yet relaxed bistro bringing the flavours of New York dining culture to London with East Coast classics and seasonal produce, and Leaf and Cane, a vibrant late night bar with live sports screenings, karaoke nights, a dynamic calendar of social events, premium beers and a lively social atmosphere.

Duties and Responsibilities related to the Breakfast Commis Chef role
As a Breakfast Commis Chef, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional morning dining experience. Working under the guidance of senior chefs, you will ensure that every breakfast dish meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.

- Develop and apply a variety of cooking techniques under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Contribute to meal preparation and service by completing tasks accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, ensuring tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use.
- Assist with receiving, checking, and storing ingredients and supplies, following correct stock rotation practices.
- Gain practical experience across different kitchen sections to build a strong foundation in culinary operations.
- Continue developing your skills and culinary knowledge while supporting the success of the kitchen team.
About You
You will have some previous experience in culinary operations, with the willingness to keep developing your skills and supporting the wider kitchen team. You bring a basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and a strong commitment to following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
