Breast Health Sales Specialist – Diagnostic Oncology (East of England)

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Breast Health Sales Specialist to join our Diagnostic Oncology division. This field-based role covers the East of England (Leicester, Cambridge, Peterborough, East Anglia, Norfolk, and North London), focusing on:
- Managing and influencing buying decisions in existing accounts
- Selling into new accounts in a competitive market
- Expanding an already high-performing team
- Clinical and sales hybrid role, including hands-on advice on BD product application
- Managing a portfolio of capital and consumable products, with up to 80% travel and occasional overnight stays
The ideal candidate will: ✔ Develop a deep understanding of Breast Oncology and BD’s product portfolio ✔ Work closely with Breast Radiologists, Breast Surgeons, and Radiographers ✔ Drive awareness and value of BD Oncology offerings

- Developing BD’s breast biopsy portfolio (vacuum-assisted and core needle biopsy devices) in existing accounts
- Winning new business in symptomatic and screening breast centers
- Collaborating with clinical stakeholders (radiologists, radiographers) to drive BD adoption
- Forecasting and reporting monthly sales metrics
- Creating value-based propositions for clinical and purchasing customers
- Building key opinion leader (KOL) relationships to enhance patient outcomes
- Supporting patient case training in breast radiology
- Driving effective use of CRM tools and company selling platforms
About You
Required Skills & Experience
- Medical device sales experience (ideally in theatre, cardiology, or radiology)
- Experience in a competitive, multi-decision-maker sales environment
- Strong medical device product demonstration skills
- Ability to analyze customer data and deliver clinically sound sales solutions
- Excellent interpersonal, teaching, and presentation skills
- Understanding of NHS SC² Pathways, NICE guidelines, and Payer policies
- Familiarity with health economic tools and their applications
Bonus Experience (Optional)
- Prior experience with biopsy products or breast health solutions
- Knowledge of radiology procurement processes
