Breast Health Sales Specialist
Location: East of England (Leicester, Cambridge, Peterborough, East Anglia, Norfolk, North London) – Field-Based Role
About the Role
We are seeking a Breast Health Sales Specialist to join our Diagnostic Oncology team and help drive sales of our Breast Oncology portfolio in the East of England region. In this proud role, you’ll deliver our advanced medical technology solutions, working closely with Breast Radiologists, Surgeons, and Radiographers to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
This role offers the opportunity to develop new accounts and manage existing buyers across an exciting market. Blending clinical expertise and sales acumen, you’ll have the chance to shape the future of breast health diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop BD’s Breast Biopsy portfolio (vacuum-assisted & core needle biopsy products) in existing trust/hospital accounts.
- Act as a sales advocate to win new business among symptomatic and screening breast centers.
- Collaborate with Breast Radiologists, Breast Surgeons, and Radiographers to demonstrate the value of BD Oncology solutions.
- Provide physicist expertise to clinics regarding imaging techniques and BD equipment’s role.
- Build forecasts and business reviews, ensuring clinical and financial targets are met.
- Propose value-driven diagnostic solutions aligned with payer strategies (NICE, NHSSc).
- Partner with opinion leaders to improve patient outcomes via BD-supported programmes.
- Coach teams in product training, with a focus on delivering confident patient care.
- Interpret clinical studies to present advancements in patient outcomes worldwide.

Profile:
- Proven sales experience in a clinical environment (Radiology/Cardia specialty)
- Hands-on market research and competitor intelligence skills
- Strong partnership traits: committed to treating users as collaborators
- Deep understanding of breast cancer screening, cancer pathology, and health economics policies
- CRM tool competency and excellent communication (including on camera)
- Medical sales experience where oncology is the focus
- Experience presenting to clinicians and explaining imaging techniques in a compelling way
- Ability to translate qualitative data into commercially effective value proposition

Lifestyle & Compensation
- Base Salary: Between £45,000 and £55,000 with bonus potential (link to total rewards package)
- Ability to earn considerable utility costs benefits.
