About the Role
We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Breast Imaging to join an established radiology service in London, providing comprehensive radiology care and supporting its imaging services. This role is ideal for a dedicated and skilled professional who wants to make a meaningful impact in radiology and deliver exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead one-stop clinics, report mammograms and breast MRIs, and provide cross-cover across imaging services.
- Perform stereotactic biopsies, pre-operative localisations, and image-guided excision procedures (VAB).
- Attend the weekly Breast Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, working closely with the broader breast care team.
Responsibilities
As a Locum Consultant Radiologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and treating conditions using advanced imaging techniques, ensuring accurate interpretations.
- Managing patient care with empathy, transparency, and clinical excellence.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
- Contributing to the advancement of radiology by staying upgraded with practice standards.
- Delivering high-quality imaging services aligned with NHS and professional guidelines.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Valid UK medical degree and medical licence. ✔ FRCR (Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists) or equivalent qualification. ✔ GMC registration (or eligible for registration within 6 months). ✔ Proven consultant-level experience in radiology. ✔ Strong expertise in diagnostic radiology, particularly in Breast Imaging. ✔ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
