Sign Solutions, founded in 1998, provides interpreting and translation services to the Deaf community across the UK.
Our mission is 'To provide access and combat inequality by enabling people of different languages, cultures and communities to talk to each other' and we do this through our range of non-spoken services, contributing to breaking down communication barriers for Deaf people.
Our services include face-to-face and pre-booked video interpreting, Deaf Awareness Training, Access to Work support for Deaf employees, BSL translations, and our on-demand video interpreting platform, InterpretersLive!, a service providing instant communication between Deaf and hearing people through qualified British Sign Language interpreters.
All of our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Job Description
We are looking for RSLI BSL Interpreters to join our video team on a contracted full time or part-time/job share contracted basis, working out of hours Monday - Friday 12.00am -8.00am
Working with a broad range of corporate clients in the private and public sector, as well as individual Deaf clients, this role is to predominantly provide BSL video interpretation for pre-booked and on-demand remote video interpretation sessions.

Responsibilities
- To undertake on-demand and pre-booked video interpreting assignments
- To deliver high quality BSL/English interpreting services to all clients
- To report to Head Interpreter and Operations Team
- To maintain CPD
- To abide by NRCPD code of conduct
- To work flexibly within the video interpreting team

Qualifications
Essential skills/qualifications/experience
- NRCPD registration
- RSLI status
- Enhanced DBS
Full 1:1 training will be provided.
