Broker Account Manager

Client Director – Insurance Consultancy

Our client is a leading insurance consultancy business, combining innovation within a mature industry. They partner with diverse corporate clients to deliver unrivalled expertise across the full insurance spectrum, including risk analysis, contract drafting, policy management, and claims handling.

Key Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Management

  • Manage a portfolio of clients through the complete lifecycle:
    • Initial project planning
    • Ongoing annual activities
    • Contract renewals
  • Proactively monitor project delivery, anticipating:
    • Capacity constraints
    • Budget overruns
    • Timeline risks
    • Escalation of critical issues

Operations & Compliance

  • Prioritise and coordinate urgent client enquiries
  • Ensure strict adherence to:
    • Internal processes
    • Compliance requirements
  • Oversee successful project execution by:
    • Mentoring junior team members
    • Providing strategic guidance

Candidate Profile

  • Essential:

    • Proven experience in an EU brokerage environment
    • Strong interpersonal skills with initiative, intuition, and creative problem-solving
    • Experience handling engagement with CFOs, General Counsels, or equivalent decision-makers
    • In-depth knowledge of the insurance market (market dynamics, products, and stakeholder relationships)
  • Competencies:

    • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and presentation abilities
    • Fluency in at least one EU language (beyond English)
    • Adaptability and influencing ability in a fast-paced consultancy context
