About Allica Bank

Allica is the UK’s fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.

Established SMEs are the backbone of local communities - representing over a third of our economy - yet have been largely neglected both by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.

Department Description

Allica exists to serve established small and medium‑sized businesses, typically those with between 5 and 250 employees – that are often underserved by traditional high‑street banks. The bank combines relationship‑led banking with modern digital technology to provide a more responsive, personal service for business owners and intermediaries.

Allica has continued to strengthen its reputation with broker partners, delivering a standout performance at the 2025 National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) Awards.

We were proud to secure four awards, including Best BDM Team of the Year, Commercial Mortgage Lender of the Year, and Pioneers of the Year – recognising the strength of our relationship‑led approach, consistency of delivery, and continued innovation in the commercial lending market.

Role Description

To support the delivery of the Bank’s Introducer strategy by providing a high‑quality, professional relationship management service to commercial finance brokers, prospective customers and existing customers.

The role is responsible for the origination and delivery of commercial mortgage lending, ensuring consistently high service standards, building strong broker relationships, and the maximisation of value through disciplined execution, collaboration and customer‑focused outcomes.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Building and relationship managing a portfolio/panel of commercial finance Introducers in the West Midlands region, with responsibility for day-to-day management of the relationships.
  • Reviewing, encouraging, managing, and progressing applications from Introducers from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Owning the customer service to always ensure excellent service for Introducers, prospective customers, and existing customers.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with all areas of the Bank to ensure a seamless and professional service is always provided.
  • Promoting the Banks culture and values.
  • Supporting lending applications in line with Allica’s Credit Policy and Credit Appetite.
  • Compliance with all mandatory policies.
  • Being a positive contributor to Allica’s culture, and always promoting our values of In It Together, Lead by Example, Need for Speed, Straight Bat, Own It.
  • Complying with all mandatory policies, and adherence to operational procedures to maintain internal controls.
  • Establishing and actively managing objectives and a personal development plan.
  • Deliver territory Business Plan and targeted lending volumes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
