At Lenkie, we're passionate about helping small businesses turn their big ambitions into reality. Our lending products reduce the friction involved in accessing finance and through our powerful cash flow management platform we empower small and medium-sized businesses to succeed. We have supported hundreds of SMEs across the UK with £100M+ funding.

We are a friendly and collaborative team with a fast-paced and high-performing culture. We are a fintech headquartered in London but have a distributed team across Nigeria, South Africa, and London. We're backed by world-class investors and since closing a £49M debt and equity Series A we have scaled our loan book by 5x in the last year.

About the job

We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic and driven Broker Manager. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong sales acumen combined with modern efficiency skills (AI and automation), be able to onboard and nurture exceptional relationships, and be driven in helping us achieve our exciting commercial goals.

As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of Lenkie's core go-to-market channel, identifying opportunities to grow our customer base, and collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. Knowledge and experience in broker relationship management at a lending business is essential for the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • New business: you will be responsible for expanding our network of brokers and referring partners. Experience in broker relationship management and outbound sales is crucial. You will be required to research, pitch and onboard new brokers, new industry partners and support with feedback on their funding applications.
  • Relationship management: as our first port of call for existing partners, you will need to build exceptional relationships through clear communication and speed of service. Go the extra mile to meet the needs of your relationships, including travelling within the UK for in-person meetings, pitches and events.
  • Product expertise: being able to provide brokers and referring partners with an in-depth understanding of our product, both from a software and a lending perspective, will be critical to your success.
  • Market analysis: the SME funding landscape is highly competitive, and an ability to articulate why brokers and customers should choose Lenkie - developed through a deep understanding of the market - is key.
  • CRM Management: maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with your relationship using our CRM system and execute on account management plans.
  • Collaboration: work closely with the new business sales, account management, credit and tech teams to help ensure best-in-class customer experience and retention.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on sales strategies, messaging, and product offerings to contribute to ongoing improvements and enhancements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
